Fun Family Outing: Fused Glass Pet Ornaments - May 31

Fused Glass Pet Ornaments with Jody Jaramillo

Saturday, May 31 (2 sessions to choose from, see drop down)

Spend a morning being creative with your child!  (Or come yourself and make two ornaments. No kids? Come with your spouse, your friend, whatever!)

Jody will teach you the basics of using the tools, then you'll us our extensive collection of scrap glass to bring your pet (or your favorite animal!) to life as a small ornament. (We recommend spending some time doing a simple drawing with your child; focus on naming the shapes that make up the drawing, and identifying different areas of color.  Check out our Pinterest board for inspiration.) Appropriate for ages 5+ with adult support.

(Want to make it a nightlight like some of the Pinterest examples?  On the day of the class, after creating, just purchase the nightlight parts at 20% off and we'll assemble it for you when it comes out of the kiln!)

No Experience Necessary

$32 includes all materials for 2 suncatchers (one each for adult and child), plus pretzels or popcorn and water. Got more kids (or adults)? Pay an additional $15 for each to make a suncatcher and have a snack!

Suncatchers will be fired in the kiln and will be available to pick up within 1 week.
