While Bullseye strives for consistent colors, their glass is a handmade product, and colors may vary slightly between production runs and from online images. Some colors may change slightly upon firing or with extensive heat work. We recommend that you test samples of glass using the same firing cycles and processes to be used in finished pieces. Strikers: Bullseye produces some glasses that appear pale or colorless in cold form but “strike” or mature to the target color only after reheating to the right temperature. The resulting color may vary depending on variations in the temperature, atmosphere or amount of heat work. For projects that are especially color sensitive, we recommend fusing or torchworking a small sample of your glass before use, to best understand final color result.
