Stained Glass Express is a stained glass paradise. Our retail store and Glass Academy are located in Manchester, Maine. When a first time stained glass visitor walks through the door, the sound "Ohhhhh" is what we often hear.
Even though we are well stocked, we are still small enough to give outstanding personal service.
Depending on availability, we stock art and fusible glass from Kokomo, Artisan, Oceanside Compatible, Wissmach, Youghiogheny, and Bullseye. and an amazing selection of clear textures. We have a wonderful collection of dichroic glass in both 90 and 96 COE from Coatings by Sandberg (CBS).
We stock tools and supplies for the stained-glass foil and lead methods, fusing, mosaics, flameworking (beadmaking) and etching from all the leading manufacturers.

Our Story
O&P Glass, a family-owned business, started stocking stained glass at all locations in the early 1980's. In July of 1988 the art glass was all moved to 10 Railroad Square in Waterville, Maine to create one location focused on art glass. In November of 2014 the Waterville location was closed and the store moved to 966 Western Avenue in Manchester, Maine to gain more space and be able to operate on a single level.
The store is comprised of a retail store that sells stained glass and supplies as well as glass gifts. It houses The Glass Academy at Stained Glass Express, with two spacious classrooms where classes and events are held. One of the classrooms is equipped with bench burners and there is a kiln room with multiple kilns. When we moved to the new location in Manchester, we added a gallery with Maine glass artists’ work and an antiquities section.

In 2005, our first online store was launched. It has been upgraded several times since then and has remained in a growth mode, making up more and more of the sales percentage of the store. We launched our new online store in the fall of 2023. We are service oriented and more often than not get the orders out the day we get them.
